A casual conversation in the middle of a field led to eco-watch asking us to "look at their website". Cornwall based company Eco-watch provide wildlife surveillance to a range of home users, schools and colleges, professional filmmakers, visitor centres and other estates. A key objective of theirs was to shift the volume of customer enquiries from the phone to the web, and maximise the sales opportunities provided by the web.



What we did

  • We designed and built a new website, accentuating their brand through stimulating creative, good usability and improved targeted content.
  • We enabled eco-watch to content manage the site themselves.
  • We improved their visibility to search engines.
  • We provided strategic focus in pursuit of the wider business opportunity.
  • We put a halt to their competitors ‘spiking’ eco-watch (trading on eco-watch’s name via pay per click)
  • We provided strategic focus to eco-watch’s target markets.

Results

Since the site launched in September 2005, sales enquiries have justified the cost of developing the site. In this period, the site has opened up new opportunities with several organisations and visitor centres. The compliments from eco-watch’s customer base have added value to the business too.
